Oz Kids has sent it's first container (40ft) filled with donated items for the new orphanage house, amenities block, birthing clinic and Vocational training centre.
It left Brisbane on the 1/9/2010 and we would like to thank all those who donated items and helped pack, with special thanks to Ken and Brad from Operation Lift in Mackay for all the equipment for our birthing clinic.
Most of the items listed below are still needed and will be sent on our next shipment.

Items for Home.
All white goods, electrical appliances, gas stoves and ovens, audio/visual equipment, lights and fittings, door handles and hinges, Large generator, cold-room motor and blower, solar equipment, security alarm or surveillance system, power points and switches.
Building equipment.
Concrete mixer (electric), wheelbarrow, hammers & levels, shovels & picks etc.
Power tools: drills , saws, cords, etc.
Materials: paint and all necessary painting equipment, adhesives and sealants (eg. bondcrete, celastic, liquid-nails etc.)
We need all items and tools for building.
Plumbing (amenities block etc.)
Shower mixers, taps and all associated fittings, hot water systems, water pumps (5HP+) and fittings, any irrigation equipment that can be used for either small scale veg. farming to large commercial.
Vocational training centre and school.
Some of the above equipment can be used for the wood, metal and mechanical workshops, workshop tools and equipment are needed.
All educational materials and books, art/craft items, etc.
Washing machines and dryers are needed for our local hospital.
