Meet The Children

It doesn't get much tougher than living in a compound (slum area), especially as a child having lost your parents and living with extended family, themselves struggling to survive.  Many thousands of children in this extremely impoverished environment are seldom fed properly, clothed or educated.  All the children in our Mazabuka orphanage are from these local compounds and we are there to give them a future with hope.

We have three dedicated woman working at the home. They are overseen by Oz Kids Zambia manager Kaoma Kashito who lives nearby. They all do a wonderful job.

All of these children are  orphans or abandoned
and are now being cared for at the Mazabuka Orphanage.

The cost of living in Zambia is not cheap as there is very little manufacturing, so nearly all goods are imported and are priced out of the range of most people, average inflation is 15%, therefore with all weekly, monthly and yearly bills and expenses included, it is costly to run the orphanage. So please consider becoming a monthly sponsor and help us provide a loving home and  education for these children.
